The office is accessed from street level, with four steps leading up to the front external door.
Our office is located on York Place, along from the Edinburgh Trams terminus and less than five minutes walk from Edinburgh bus station.

Lothian Bus services that stop near the office are 1, 8, 11, 16, 19, 22, 25, 26 and 34.
If you are travelling towards the city centre the closest bus stops are located on Broughton Street, Omni Centre and York Place.
If you are travelling away from the city centre the closest bus stops are again Broughton Street, Omni Centre or York Place.
Any trams heading to the city centre will drop you off near the office.
The closest tram stop is at the terminus on York Place. Then walk 0.1 mile along York place in the direction of the West End. Cross over at the bus station (you will see the back of Edinburgh Bus Station) and continue to walk along until you arrive at number 9.
Waverley train station is located around 0.4 miles from 9 York Place. It’s less than ten minutes to walk as shown on the map below.

There are no facilities for bike parking outside PDSO Edinburgh.
There is an intercom system to gain access to the office.
There is street level access to the main entrance of our office. There are four steps leading up to the external front door and as you enter the door there is one further step.
The front door opens to a vestibule and an internal locked door.
Press the buzzer to let staff know you are there.
Reception staff will greet you by speaking to you through the door intercom system.
If you have an appointment to see a solicitor, staff will let you in and direct you into the Reception waiting area, which is situated on the ground floor immediately inside the front internal door.
Please note that we cannot always admit visitors who do not have a pre-arranged appointment.
Assistance dogs are welcome in our office. Please let us know in advance if you would like us to make any special arrangements to help accommodate them. We can arrange to have a bowl of water available for them.
